Account Manager

Cerebra Communications are looking for an Account Manager to join their team, who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients ensuring the smooth running of the account on an operational, creative and financial level.

Job objectives: 
  • Effectively account manage client portfolios
  • Ensure client account administration is effective and efficient by ensuring that all correspondence is appropriate and timeous including telephonic and email, status reports are sent, client meetings are scheduled and attended
  • Manage and oversee the creative component of campaigns
  • Develop and manage client campaign ideas and creative concepts from start to finish
  • Ensure every client receives reports on the implementation of strategies
  • Identify trends and provide strategic advice on client portfolios
  • Liaise and follow up with clients on critical content requirements
  • Stimulate creativity and innovation of ideas for solutions to clients
  • Ensure client execution meets both client and Cerebra’s quality standards and raise quality standard concerns where necessary
  • Be able to ensure high quality, effective and efficient delivery on all client proposals
  • Ensure sound business judgement to navigate through challenges and conflicts in the day to day achievement of deliverables
  • Know and understand the industry and business environment
  • Identify new opportunities to upsell strategic products and offerings to clients
  • Promote and sell new ideas and services to existing clients and effectively close deals
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of client products and services and business environment
  • Understand the relevance of various social media and other platforms in each client environment
  • Manage client expectations, meeting of deliverables and objectives and overall performance of the clients strategies.
Minimum requirements: 

Qualification and skills required:

A degree or diploma majoring in communication, marketing, advertising or other equivalent.
2 years experience in a similar role in an agency environment, with a proven track record in delivering results and managing key accounts, sales management and project management experience.
