Shifting from Social Media to Social Business Thinking

Social media is no longer just an add-on for businesses, relegated to the fresh-out-varsity intern in the I.T. basement. While many businesses have learned to be more intentional in including social media into their marketing mix, it’s important to remember that these channels are not only a means for broadcast. Ever-growing platforms like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in the consumer interactions space, and businesses would be well-served to keep up with the times.

I’ve written about it this at length in my article on Memeburn. Give it a read and let me know your thoughts, and experiences within your business.
