Welcome Bakers® South Africa

We are proud to announce that Bakers® South Africa has joined the Cerebra client family. It is a rare pleasure to work with a company with as rich a history as Bakers®, and we aim to contribute positively to what the brand means to South Africans.

We started working on the account at the beginning of October and one of the first projects we got to work on was the ZooBokke campaign, showcasing tactical ideas around our support of the Springboks.

These posts have been a great way of showcasing brand love while demonstrating the power of contextual content; identifying the right opportunity for content that connects with your audience and their interests, posted at the right time, and on the right platforms.

You may have spotted the post on the right, created by partner agency M&C Saatchi Abel, when South Africa played in the recent rugby quarter final. The posts created an emotional connection with young and old, bringing back memories and highlighting the love South Africans have for Iced Zoo® Biscuits.

For over 150 years, Bakers’ products have been a part of South African culture and family life. From Blue Label® Marie Biscuits to Provita, you’ll be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn’t enjoyed a Bakers® product, and we’re excited about the opportunity this gives us to connect with a broad range of people.
