The content specialists takes copy and ideation lead on assigned briefs to ensure effective delivery of a brand’s social media objectives.

 

Main areas of responsibility

  • Concept / Ideation
  • Social writing- writing content that is suitable for various social media platforms and advising on best copy approach for the different social platform
  • Inputting into campaign ideas and creative brainstorming sessions
  • Working with entire team to ensure synergy on campaigns
  • Contribution to and ownership of content strategies
  • Ensuring that Editorial Board process is followed on assigned clients
  • Community Management / Live Tweeting (outside of Engage Team)
  • Content Management / Scheduling- creating content plans in line with a brand’s social media strategy and tonality
  • Content Posting- ensuring content is posted timeously across social media platforms
  • Social / channel best practice- keeping up-to-date with the latest trends within the digital and social media landscape
  • Understanding of community Management
  • Briefing in images to a design team in a clear and concise manner
  • Liaising with client and addressing key queries around social media

Experience

  • 5 – 7 years
  • Award-winning creative work portfolio reflecting your creative proficiencies
  • A great conceptual thinker
  • Meticulous writer
  • Understanding of social media marketing (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, other) is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of and ability to keep abreast of new developments within the social media, Creative and passionate about social media

Qualifications

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification in related field (e.g. communications, English, PR, copywriting, journalism) essential.
