Conversation/Social Media Analyst

The ideal Conversation/Social Media Analyst will be responsible for developing online conversational data into insightful findings which contribute to the optimisation of marketing strategies as well as effect lasting change on businesses. The job will include these top four activities: monitor, measure, report and optimise. Key to this role is the ability to provide data-driven insights which result in specific action plans and quantifiable business improvement

  • Discover/ identify human truths and insights
  • Story-telling through reporting
  • Understand and inform different departments within digital marketing landscape

  • Supplement and support strategies
  • See out an action plan to show quantifiable business improvement


Minimum of 2-4 years’ digital experience essential in: web analytics and/or listening tools


Degree in (or related to) either marketing or communication

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong background in business intelligence, analytics and marketing a plus
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing
  • Experience with online listening and web analytics tools such as Radian6, Engager, Sysomos, Google Analytics etc.
  • Must have the ability to think strategically; able to turn consumer behaviour data into effective strategies that drive results
  • Writing and presentation creation skills essential
  • Delivery of concise insights
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to function well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Versatility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of and ability to keep abreast of new developments within the social media, Creative and passionate about social media.
