Senior Content Strategist

We’re looking for a full-time Senior Content Strategist to take on a key senior strategy role, working on a really cool client.


  • Develop, lead and manage overall content strategy and execution thereof and align the content strategy across social media and other digital channels to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Perform and present monthly strategic reviews to ensure consistent learning and optimisation of all content initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of content development for select digital properties, serving as lead contact for external agencies.
  • Prepare and conduct monthly editorial board as well as manage content calendar and assist with editorial workflow.
  • Perform content discovery and analysis for both large and small projects. This will include content audits, inventories, competitive analyses, and other tactics.
  • Lead client meetings to present findings, content concepts, and works in progress.
  • Set the direction for multiple strategy projects
  • Mine insights to understand how best to communicate with our target across all digital channels by teaming with analytics to ensure that data and customer insights drive content decisions and standards
  • Partner with creative teams from brief-writing to execution of content and beyond to ensure that strategy is both inspiring and effective.
  • Influence clients and senior agency leads in service of selling great social and content strategy and creative work.
  • Manage comparative research, analysing and synthesising of user research to guide content and overall design strategy.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape for technical and content trends.
  • Develop and contribute to editorial and user interface strategy guidelines.
  • Act as a thought leader for the team by crafting POVs on leading edge topics, briefs, presentations, digital campaign recommendations, and proposals.
  • Act as agency lead and client contact on all crisis communication initiatives.


  • A minimum of five years’ strategy experience in a similar role


  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. Communications, Copywriting, Journalism, English) is essential.
