Anticipated, efficient delivery

In recent projects we have started to notice a greater need for all vested stakeholders to be on the same page, especially at the right time. We’re placing more emphasis on aligning the goals and outcomes of individual outputs so that they better contribute to overall success of delivery on projects.

But how do you ensure that your team is ready and capable to deliver amazing work on integrated campaigns or project-related work?

Working alongside big clients who run multiple above and below the line communication campaigns has encouraged us to evaluate how we deliver work and keep up our end of the ‘marketing mix’. Social and digital needs to tie-in neatly to the overall brand strategies. One of our key focus areas is to ensure that we are ready, along with the rest of the project or campaign deliverables.

One of the competencies we are trying to develop is the concept of Massive Accelerated Delivery. This term coined by Cerebra MD, Craig Rodney, is where we take a holistic look at the long-term outcomes of a project, predict requirements so we can adequately prepare in order to efficiently achieve results.

It is a simple concept of considering all the variables and resources so you can pre-empt everyone’s needs to ensure all elements fall into place when necessary. This avoids delays in projects and speeds up the efficiency and productivity of the team.

An account manager or project manager needs to have a strategic overview of the entire project, and understanding of each skill set, so he can map out and action tasks accordingly. For example, our projects involve copy writers, designers, developers, strategists and content managers and ensuring that the workflow fits together like a puzzle – that’s the core objective of the MAD methodology.

With this approach to tracking and managing projects, you will be better equipped to maximise the value added to the client in terms of delivery and time management, as well as attempting to anticipate or mitigate potential risks and crisis.
