We are looking for an experienced mid level Strategist who has a passion for social media and for the creation of amazing Strategy.
Job objectives:
• Develop and present strategy tailored to tier 2 clients.
• Assist head of strategy with tier 1 clients where appropriate.
• Work with Account Director and manager to develop a strategic approach to identify and fill prospective gaps in the business where necessary.
• Attend all internal and relevant client Strategy meetings.
• Assist head of strategy with research and analytics where needed.
• Analyse and document trends for use within business (on clients) and externally for PR.
• Provide strategic feedback and reports on new trends.
• Work with Account Managers, content production team as well as a community manager to ensure that Client specific strategy is being implemented
Minimum requirements:
South African citizen (only)
Relevant diploma or degree
Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role or related agency discipline
A must:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Personal Skills/Attributes
A hands-on and professional approach with both clients and team members
Highly attentive to detail - you are a "well-organized" freak
Prepared to work late (if needed) go the extra mile!
Must be able to perform under pressure and deliver on fixed timelines
Must have excellent ability to work with people within cross functional teams
Must have strong networking, facilitation and negotiation skills
A creative thinker who is confident, self motivated, articulate and practical
