Our main focus is building, engaging and activating communities around some really awesome and prolific corporate and consumer brands through the fast-paced, ever-changing and interactive world of social media.

Cerebra attracts the very best talent and our culture is one of constant learning and sharing. We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who has a passion for social media and a flair for building and maintaining excellent client relationships, to join our team.

Job objectives: 

Understand client requirements and be able to work accurately and consistently to ensure deadlines are met.
Everything from social media design consisting of mock-ups, image updates and layouts to internal creative and presentations

Minimum requirements: 

A degree/diploma in graphic design or similar qualification.
At least 2-3 years work experience. Agency experience would be advantageous.
Understand and use the basic design principles.
Friends with spell check and have an eye for detail.
Handle constructive criticism and creative direction.
Constantly up to date with trends in pop-culture and current events.
Previous experience in development of overall layout and in production design.
Web design and HTML experience advantageous.
Good communication and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision as well as in a team.
Own transport and be willing to travel to our office daily.

Adobe CS6 - mad skills in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop
Microsoft Suite - must be able to use and transfer designs in PowerPoint
Be fully Mac-literate and a design nerd
HUGE passion and talent for design

Amazing energy and loads of enthusiasm.
Must be flexible and have creative flair.
Possess the confidence to explain and sell ideas to colleagues.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to cope with many projects at a time.
Open-minded and willing to make changes.
Must thrive under pressure.
